Your annual commitment makes possible a sacred home of worship, learning, connection, and belonging where everyone has a place and can engage meaningfully in Jewish life. Since 2019, our Annual Commitment model has reflected our belief that Jewish life should be open and accessible to all, and that financial circumstances should never be a barrier to participation.
This year we are introducing giving circles to recognize the incredible generosity of our community. Each circle includes special benefits and opportunities to connect more deeply with our sacred community.
Thank you for your generosity and partnership in helping our CBI Community flourish.
Our Annual Commitment Circles celebrate households whose generosity helps sustain Congregation Beth Israel and ensure that our community remains vibrant, welcoming, and accessible to all. In gratitude for this partnership, each circle offers opportunities to engage more deeply in the life, leadership, and future of our sacred community.
Kehillah is our sustaining level of annual commitment and reflects the amount needed to support the ongoing life of our congregation. Households at this level provide the foundation that makes possible worship, learning, care, connection, and belonging for our entire community. Their generosity ensures that CBI remains a vibrant and accessible Jewish home for all.
Kavod recognizes households whose generosity helps sustain and strengthen our community. Members receive personal expressions of appreciation and are invited to an annual conversation with clergy and professional staff, offering a deeper look at the state of the congregation and the opportunities and aspirations that lie ahead for CBI.
Tzedek honors households whose generosity reflects exceptional leadership and commitment to CBI’s future. Members receive personal expressions of gratitude and are invited to an annual conversation with clergy and professional staff, offering a deeper look at the state of the congregation and the opportunities and aspirations that lie ahead for CBI. Tzedek members are also invited to a special annual donor appreciation gathering and may choose to be publicly recognized in congregational publications and materials.
Ahava celebrates households whose extraordinary generosity demonstrates a profound commitment to the future of Congregation Beth Israel. In addition to receiving the opportunities and recognition offered to Tzedek members, Ahava households are invited to smaller gatherings throughout the year with clergy, staff, and lay leaders, creating additional opportunities for conversation, learning, and shared vision for the future of our community. Ahava members may also choose to be publicly recognized in congregational publications and materials.
Above all, our Annual Commitment Circles are expressions of gratitude. We are deeply thankful for every commitment and every act of generosity that strengthens our kehillah kedoshah, our holy community.
